This site is dedicated to information regarding Sage Line 500 and it’s use in your business. To help you get the best from your current implementation or if you are looking for advice before making the commitment to switch to Line 500, hopefully there will be snippets of information that will help in your quest!.
This site is about my Line 500 ramblings, musings and problems! More importantly I will keep it up to date with my real life problems that I deal with using Line 500 that I hope will be of use to you. I am grateful to obtain work using Line 500 but I have no affinity to it as a product or Sage so if you want the warts and all opinions of it what it can do, what it can’t do and what it does badly I will tell all!
Who am I? Well I’ve been in IT since 1983, when data was stored on 8″ floppy disks and we all stared at tiny green character screens. From the early nineties I have been involved with computerised accounting systems (running on Commodore Pets to start with) through modular DOS and windows systems right up to today where I work with large scale enterprise systems (usually Line 500!).
